Latest Issue - out 3rd May!

Issue 11/04

This month's feature car is Colin Young's gorgeous V6-powered Pop, a real sweet resto-ride that has exactly the right look and stance, drives superb and yet hasn'y broken the bank to build. If this rod doesn't light your fire then there's something serious adrift with your octane rating!

We've also got some coverage from the Bulldog Bash and the hot final round action of the National Street Car Challenge from '07 - plus a lowdown on the Driver's Meeting and AGM prior to the 2008 season.

We have a report on the Klaymore Kruiser's Picnic and also cruise reports from Cheshire and Leeds. Add to that the latest drag racing news, stacks of free ads and it's that overdue bit of reading you've been waiting for!

Issue 10/04

Kicking off 2008 we take a ride out in Andy Hadfield's insane blown ten-second T-Bucket and discover why care in the community is not necessarily a good thing.

We've got footage from the Bank Holiday Flag Start Drags at Shakespeare Count Raceway (it just doesn't get any more grass roots than this!) and whilst we're hot on the nostagia theme, Neal Reed has shot us some stunning footage from the HotRod Hayride.

We take a big old Mopar down to the HotRod Drags and bring you some track action, plus Roady goes all GM and cruises down to the NASC Nationals to experience life in France, or near as dammit.

Coverage from Round Seven of the National Street Car Challenge and the Steel City Cruiser's Sheffield rod run pave the way for a packed issue, along with all the latest news and cars & parts for sale.

Issue 0904 ~ sorry, sold out!

This month we've got the low down on Carl Jackson's drop dead gorgeous '56 Chevy, a car which runs as good as it looks and is as happy mixing it up at the traffic lights as it is pulling pots on the showfield. It's got all the right ingredients for a sixties street racer - we're sure you'll dig it.

We take a run over the border to catch up with the Kyle Custom run at Eglinton Park, a great weekend with a superb fancy-dress party. Also on the show front we have a report from the NSRA SuperNats as well as the Rockabilly Rave.

Cruise nights featured this month include Stotford and Riverside, and there's coverage of the NSCC outings at the Mopar Nationals and York Raceway.

You want tech? How about our budget build-up small block Chevy? Take a bog stock smog 350 and some bolt on goodies and let's see how whether the manufcturer's claims are right! Some parts you'll wanna buy, others you won't! Read the article to find out what worked and what didn't when we bolted it to the dyno at John Sleath Race Cars! As well as all the news from around the UK, we've also got a feature on German photographer Dirk Behlau's new book, Speed Kings. What more could you want for £2.50 ????

Issue 0804 - sorry, sold out

Kicking off this month's bumper-issue we've got the lowdown on Chris Round's ProStreet Pop, a tough cookie built to be driven hard. And if being driven hard is the way you like 'em then we've got two rounds of coverage of the National Street Car Challenge from Shakespeare County Raceway.

Even inspite of the crap weather we've been having, the shows still go on - and we've got coverage from a very aptly named Wet & Wild and the Northern Hot Rod Club event at Cleethorpes to prove it.

Want a road trip? How about the first ever Hot Rods & Hills event in Cumbria? Man this was a blast, and we've taken some of the quickest cars in the country over some seriously twisty roads and through some breathtaking scenery.

Elsewhere we have reports of local cruises from the Brighton Belle, Leeds, Darlington and the Long Itch Diner. Not covered your local cruise yet? Send us some pics! Add to that the latest news and reviews plus a stack of cars and parts for sale in our FREE adverts and it's a whole lotta reading.

0704 - sorry, sold out

There ain't no substitute for cubic inches, so how's about Big Al Williamson's Heavy Chevy '54 Stepside PickUp, stuffed full of 502ci fuel injected V8? Yep, that oughta get the octane flowing through ya veins. Back that up with a serious Road Trip with ace-photographer Neal Reed on the Cornwall Reliability Run and you're getting plenty of drive-time.

Not enough hotrodding for you? Okay, let's take a ride over to Wheels Day and have a look at some of the rides there - followed by a run round a few of the Northern cruise haunts (when are you Southerners going to send us some cruise reviews, huh?)

Oh yeah, and if it's REAL power you want then we'll take you along to run in the first round of NSCC with some hot, street-legal ten-second action! Plus there's all the latest news, some very sound advice on saving the environment and a stack of free ads with loads of goodies for sale.

0604 - sorry, sold out

The 2007 Season is now officially underway, and to kick it off we bring you a show-winning truck that gets the wheels driven off it - Steve Fletcher's '46 Chevy Stepside.

It's a classic example of 'once you're started, there's no stopping!'

We've got full coverage of the NSCC Driver's meeting, and as you can see from two of our esteemed drivers here, it was a very sober affair indeed. We've also got a fair few Progress Reports, including one from the Never Again reprobates, reporting live from Vicky Higham's cleavage.

We have Cruise reports from three different counties this month - a good indication of how the season has kicked-off - and also a round up of our jaunt down south to the NSRA Swap Meet. So it looks like another busy little issue - don't forget to catch your copy before they're all gone!

0504 - sorry sold out

With the rodding season fast approaching we kick this month's edition off with a studio shoot of Carl Powle's gorgeous '33 Ford PickUp. Would you believe that he actually found this truck virtually on his doorstep? Also in this edition Keith Harman takes a trip across to the Bakersfield HotRod Reunion and we coax Kev Rooney into giving you some lodown on radiator tech, as we upgrade the cooling in Project Thames.

Julie Hepworth brings us coverage of the Hull MultiStorey Car Park and we have the finals of NSCC 2006 with a tremendously close finish. We've also got a list of dates for the series and a progress report on a 630bhp blown AC Cobra which should be hitting the streets this season.
